I think it was pretty easy to spot 20 something females. But you know what’s even more easier to spot? 20 something females who are single. How? If you look closely, you can spot them clutching on their copy of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. That book is probably the ultimate love story ever. Unless you’re counting Romeo and Juliet, in which I think you should go get a check-up. Every singleton hoping for their own Fitzwilliam Darcy read and reread that book like their life depended on it. Until now.
Turns out the internet has once again made life better including for us die-hard Jane Austen fans through The Lizzie Bennet Diaries– a modern adaptation of the aforementioned novel retold by Hank Green and Bernie Su, in which they tell their story in video blogs or vlogs in short. All your favorite characters brought back to life with a fun twist. We will all surely love it the same as we did the book. Why wouldn’t we? It gives a different take to the novel but still gives the same flair as if we’re reading the book again. It took me less than a day to finish all 100 videos. Some changes were made, obviously so that it correlates to the modern times, but it surely never fails.
